What’s the timeline on this story?
It’s set around the time of the Newark riots in 1967 but wasn’t Tony supposed to be around 40 when The Sopranos started in 1999?
Were the Johnny Boy Soprano storylines not set in the 60s with Tony as a very young boy?

Yeah, looks like they’ve made him 7 or 8 years older for this prequel to coincide the Newark riots with him being drawn into the family business.

The son is the bulb off him the casting of him brings the character back to life, very promising.

I’ve watched the whole thing back 6 or 7 times and I’ve never not copped a new angle or discovered something new about a character any time I’ve watched it back…I might go in again soon.
