There was a scene around then when Tony is trying to weigh up what to do… he’s sickened he’s losing his best earner even tho he knows it’s a non runner now but is still scrambling to decide what to do… Anyway, he makes a comment to the Carlo and says something like - we all know he (Vito) isn’t the first (gay) … Who were they referring to?

I think he was speaking about the Mafia in general.
The lads got their revenge back on fat Dom for Vito if inadvertently. Carlo was a great character “Olè”

That’s what i thought but the way it was worked into the script and then delivered is like they were referring to someone specific… Carlo nods the head.

There’s an unwritten/ unsaid code that while in prison that guys got a pass for getting some relief - so while they are aghast, that’s also hanging there amongst them and there’s a hidden acceptance in a way… But the thought of giving
