Tough day today in fairyhouse
The going changed from good to yielding to soft early on which saw a spate of withdrawls notably cab sav in the 4-55,also any previous form went out the window
My tip in ascot also would not load up so even tho the stake was returned the cash I had expected to launch an assault on the local card never materialised, hence my lack of punting today
It was a thoroughly unremarkable days racing, the hardy few who assembled were sickened after the opener when ballydoyle’s second string Inca princess ( 4-1) turned over the heavily backed Juliet Capulet ( 8-11) who tailed in a miserable last in the 2yo maiden.
I took nothing of note at all from the remainder of the card, except in the last Mid Mon Lady a horse that I backed a lot in the latter half of last year won very impressively in a 10f handicap at 6-1,the going change suited her.
She is entered again in lepordstaon on Thursday night at 8-00, she goes up 2 pounds but is down in trip by 1f, the entries are modest and she is worth a punt.
