The Sport of Kings & Equine Matters 🐐

You won’t see that fella running for Willie anymore.

why is that ss?

I believe the horse is going back to his owners after this behaviour. Fourth time he’s done it I believe.

Niall Madden would want to relax a bit not be getting so worked up

Who ya on about SS ?

Any fancys for today lads?

Seems to be a nice bit of money for Media Queen in the first

Ya but its Donies don’t forget that!!! Won well the last day.

Think Sesenta will take beating in the 6.50*. 9/2 is a grand working mans price also.

*not to be taken as a strong tip though, so dont wade in too hard lads. I have shut up shop since rock and roll kid thnakfully.

Im going to have a go at Sanglote in the handicap chase, hes at a good weight and has ran well eneogh on soft in the past, its a fairly shit race, Eoin Griffin might have this thing right for it,ill chance it.

Think O’Briens could be a bit of value at 9/2 each way. Viceroy of India. 1/4 odds with publicity powers. 1,2,3

Boooooooooooommmmmmmmmm

What’s Oliver Brady’s phrase he sometimes uses? Is it something like “Ballyveagh for drinkin tae and Monaghan for Brandy”?

You’re not a bad man to pick them Montelado.

The Bould Oliver has a lot of phrases

Does anyone know if there’s somewhere on the internet where i could get a list of all the horses a certain trainer has in training? I tried the ATR website but it doesn’t offer you a comprehensive list.

Having a good run at the moment alright. Putting a few quid away now for Cheltenham meeting in November. Never before had a profitable Galway. I could get used to it.

Can anyone explain the logic of boots madden entering Baggio a decent sprinter when with Charles O’Briean having 2 mediocre runs over hurdles been entered in a beginners chase in Ballinrobe tomorrow?

Is there any way of preventing an owner/trainer from laying their own horse?*

*Same question applying to dogs.

If they were clever enough about it, it would be hard enough to pin on them, but if you are the registered owner of a horse and you laid the horse for big bucks on your own account, you would be caught out handy enough. Betfair and the turf club share plenty of information with each other on betting patterns so then it’s up to the Turf club to investigate any suspicious activity. They are lazy enough about it though.
