The Sport of Kings & Equine Matters 🐐

Where did I ever question his ability…A fine jockey but a cowboy of the highest order…

Says the man with the Gareth Brooks photo

Who was the retained jockey at that time, Fergal or Veitchy maybe? She did well to swap Lynch for Spencer, one lad after riding a dual Oaks winner this year, the other fella just being fined 50,000 and banned from a gaffe track in American aswell as being persona non grata over here.

I’ll be there. Have only ever missed one. ever.

Lisselton so thursday and friday nite :D:pint::D:pint:

Where do you stay Runty?

Day trips I’m afraid. Tis only 40 mins from home. I’ve stayed in BallyB a few times though.

Would a fella run into that muldoon Billy Keane in a place like Listowel. I haven’t been back since Tom Magnier got Kilcash Castle beaten there in a winners bumper some years ago.

Doesn’t Billy have a pub in listowel?

Try his bar!!! Its beside powers. A lot better places to have a pint over the week

I would usually be found in Christy’s before and after racing. I’ll head for the Kerry National Day anyways and see how I’m fixed then after that. Won a nice skelp off Ponmeoath last year.

The racecourse bar can be lively after the racing. Its around the corner from Con dillons and jets. Try the saddle bar at the top of the town for a very very late drink/ morning brew.

Anyone back anything in the Ebor?

Super finish to the ebor, Willie Mullins’ Sesenta wins it at 25/1

Changingoftheguard ran on well after a poor start to get second, losing by a head

Murtagh gave Changingoftheguard a shocking ride. Weaving in and out like a fucking yo yo and beaten a head. And no its not my pocket talking as I had no bet in the race. It won’t be long now until he’ll be looking around panicking as he hears the King whistle in his slipstream. Roll on Sept 4th

Gary O’Carroll is going great guns at the moment and is some value for his claim.

Some very good young jocks out there at the moment. Danny Mullins is very stylish unlike his awkward bag of sand cousin Patrick.

Just reading todays Indo, Damien McIlroy has a headline:

“Sesenta best value to challenge Murtagh’s charge”

Only saw that around 6 this evening, McIlroy is an alright sort and is a decent tipster

I backed Sesenta today.

Queue Puke accusing me of bullshit…

Anyone else going to the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown? Promises to be quite a day, I’m going to have a good session that day, bring it on.

Killarney abandoned people, i repeat… Killarney abandoned.
