BJ did well there to stay on board and keep the horse going. I’d say he held on.

I notice Curragh Grey running for Charles Burns now, must have been a row there. any mention of wether he got up after the fall?

There was plenty of money for Byrnes horse before hand, looked to be travelling well too before crumpling.

It’s a wonder BJ didn’t tip up at the last there, did well to get a leg under him and pick up again.

Grandouet is a smashing horse. Probably got to the front far too early in the triumph. Interesting where they go next year with this one. Apparently BJ has stated that he should go chasing, leading you to believe that he rates him the inferior to oscar whiskey. Looks like he will be good over the larger obstacles judging by his technique over hurdles.

Master of the Hounds picked up really well at the end - if he had’ve been closer to the front he would have had a right chance.

He ran a blinder to finish 5th. He got a face full of kickback which put him off a bit and he seemed to duck left and right a bit.

By the way, did you back Elyasian Rock yesterday with Mulvany? I may have backed him there at the same time as you (if Shannonsiders description is anything to go by!)

O’Briens horses are cunts in the US. Commentator said that Master of Hounds was the only horse who didn’t school at the gate this week. Every single one of his Breeders Cup horses lost at least 4L coming out of the stalls in the last 2 years. He seems to think they’re still running in maidens around Naas.

I backed Elysian Rock alright so I presume it was me. Ran like the 25/1 shot he was !!!

I’d be 99% certain Russell wasn’t told to ride like that and got a text this evening from a mate who works on the tv side of things (!!) to say he still can’t figure out how he got him beat !!!

The money seemed to be down aswell
