Great card at York tomorrow. Am struggling to find a reason not to lump on Midday at Evens, surely a notch above the field here.
If you fancy Seville for the derby be sure and back it before half two as I have a suspicion that he’ll be trading much shorter than the 7ns generally availabe now, after the Dante.
Ballydoyle is on fire at the minute, sent out a couple of nice looking 2yolds in the earlier races at Naas tonight. Maybe, like Seville out of Galileo, (Stallion par excellence) and Choir(Danehill Dancer) really catching the eye.
Peter Carberry was hit with a 40 day ban :o for not riding out a finish to the line. My first impression when I watched the Uttoxeter race was that it was a genuine mistake as there was a marker similar to a winning post about half a furlong down from the actual finishing post. 40 days looks pretty severe, I doubt very much a more senior NH or flat jockey would have incurred such a ban.
Seems very harsh alright but did he have previous?
I think they took into account another incident a few months back where he missed out on a 3rd place or something.
Carlton House put the head down today and won in a thoroughly businesslike manner from Seville today. Seville will come on for the run but not sure it will find the neccessary improvement to turn the tables with the Queens one around Epsom. Because of connections todays Dante winner will be underpriced so hopefully there will be value to be found elsewhere. Fallons choice will give a decent clue. He missed the ride on Native Khan in the guineas through suspension and won on Recital for Coolmore at the weekend. Both the Ballydoyle charges seem to have awkward enough looking head carraiges but that might be down to greeness as much as anything. At the prices I’d be leaning towards Native Khan myself at this point.
Fallon won’t be riding for O’Brien now will he? Dunlop said he expects Fallon to ride Native Khan.
Notable Graduate oozed class in a shit racein Gowran yesterday, seems like he would stay a mile and a half easily.
Murtagh gone to Newmarket today for one ride aboard Tell Dad in the 4.00.
Doh!! Just layed Dominant by mistake in the 3.10 at Newbury  Think he’'ll win handy but obviously hoping he gets stuffed now.
Got the right bet on in the Lockinge at least. Dick Turpin has a glorious chance to get one over brilliant stablemate Canford Cliffs. CC seemed to take time to find his best himself last year whereas Dick Turpin really impressed first time winning the Sandown mile and he finished in front of Canford twice roughly this time last year. I think he’ll win today. Twice Over is obviously a threat as well but he might find it tough against these specialist milers.
Bullet dodged. Thank you Al Kazeem and Steve Drowne
well done laz ![]()
That was the jammiest money I’ve ever made
Canford Cliffs?
id fancy CC aswell.
Spit on me Dickie!
Fenway or Laz, Fenway or Laz, Fenway or Laz…
Went with Laz, C’maaaaaaaaaaan
Frankel Vs canford cliffs is something to wet the appetite. latter can be expected to improve a lot.
Well done lads. Winner is out and out top class. Thought today might be the day to catch him out. He’ll improve big time for that run as well. Canford v Frankel will be race of the season. That Italian horse Worthhadd looks pretty decent. Dick Turpin was a shade disappointing, just not a genuine Gr 1 animal.
