Boom. What a horse.
The Greatest
Longchamps here we come:barcasmile::barcasmile:
9/4 on betfair for Breeders cup classic. I’ll take that
John Oxx for Taoiseach:clap:
As i’ve said many times John Oxx is a fucking legend. Murtagh even tried to squeeze him on the bend and it didn’t make a blind bit of difference
Get that fat fuck off the telly. Babs your a cunt. Letting that miserable bastard on 20 minutes after the best horse in the world. Joke
That horse is unbelieveable. Must have been 300 people in the parade ring yday and he was walking around like a plough horse, not a bother on him. Wonder what his half brother by Invincible Spirit is like, the dam died foaling him.
I have said it before, but he is going to be some Stallion. Perfect outcross now to all of the Northern Dancer line. They were saying on Saturday that they hopw he stands in Ireland, is there any chance of him fooking off elsewhere.
Would coolmore have the capital to buy him now.
I don’t think connections will sell to Coolmore due to a previous feud. Odds-on to stand in Ireland, certainly won’t stand in England I’d say.
What odds the ground being good enough in Paris in October? Less than 50% I was told.
Normally alot of give in the ground in Paris at that time of year. I hope he goes as I’ll be there myself. Didn’t think I’d see him race again over a mile and a half to be honest. I think I’d attempt to sign off in the Champion Stakes in Newmarket instead of gambling by waiting for the Arc.
Who was in attendance at Leopardstown on Saturday? Some sight i’d say, sorry now i didn’t go.
I saw Sea The Stars, College Causeway and Tommy Walsh live over the weekend.
3 superb animals
Myself and Mac were larging it up on track for most of the day anyway, he was going on to see College Causeway while I was heading into town for the Ireland game. Fucker won a fortune, while I was stupid enough to back Mastercraftsman win only instead of e/w.
Thoroughly enjoyable day, there was a great buzz about the place and the roar when he went over the line was much better than you normally get at flat meetings. That and Lexus Day are my two favourite meetings of the year, much better than the Christmas meetings and slightly less mobbed. With the 25 minute hop on the Luas, it really is a stress-free day out.
Isn’t the Lexus Chase on at Christmas Sledge? Do you mean the Hennessy?
It was as good a reception for a flat horse as I can remember. Bizarre then that some of the Coolmore team (Not Aidan) were rather surly in their reception, a comment “what’s all the fuss about?” was uttered by one of them. Sour grapes are terrible things.
Ah yes I do mean the Hennessey. There were sour grapes from some quarters alright, but I don’t think Weld bore any, for one. He seemed thrilled at what he’d witnessed.
Seeing the young O’Brien lad coming into the parade ring after the race, mad to think he is riding races like that at his age. He’s 16 but only looks about 10!
I really hope he goes there but looks like he’ll head to Paris instead. Cunt! I’d love to see him in LA cos I think there’s more to come from him and he could prove he’s the best horse in the world.
Seconded, I met numerous forum members over the weekend as well
