I see War of attriction gave another solid performance the other day…will he be able to get back in the gold cup mix though…
katchit is running in wincanton tomorrow, didn’t see his first run of the year but heard it was unspectacular…i am a big fan of katchit and alan king and i hope it gives a good run tomorrow…giving a stone in weight to blythe knight won’t be easy but katchit is a battler…
Runt…Have you anything that catches your fancy in limerick sunday…
I’m just looking through the declarations this minute. I will revert in due course.
Donn McClean tipping up Electroliser (sp?) on Newstalk for the November handicap, made a great case at a general 6s and then John Hackett came on offering 7s, anyone know if they’ve cut it yet?
Made in Taipan turned in a very impressive spin over fences earlier. Also River Leanne (who I think beat made in tapiain at some stage last year)put in a great battling performance to see off Beau Michael in a Listed Hurdle. Disappointed big time last year at Cheltenham but looks to have come back stronger this year.
As for Limerick tomorrow it’s very hard to make a serious case for anything. Pretty weak card. Bell Flower Boy was impressive over hurdles in the middle of last year, and has the breeding to be good over fences so could be a one to keep an eye on.
Nice bit of sarcasm NCC. Heard something today about him being offered at 16/1 for some race in Cheltenham but not sure which one. One of the novice hurdles but could be worth a few quid anyway.
Aran Concerto had a very good comeback today…carberry gave it a lovely ride…landed a nce treble for myself along with across the bay in navan and square sphere in the last in limerick…
What odds did pandorama start at this morning mac…I saw it at 11/4 in one paper…there must have been a nice few bob on it
Couldnt tell you. Had no interest in backing him as just wanted to see how good he was. Think the Sindo had him down at around 11/4 but wouldnt may much heed to that.
Disapponted to see this thread has gone quiet…Kinging King was retired today, a smashing horse shame it suffered that tendon injury when it did…looks like ruby is going to be out til after christmas after getting his spleen removed and Kauto is out again at the weekend and I am expecting another win from (IMO) the best horse in training…
