Is that a live feed of the sales ring, can’t get it to load properly here. What’s happening there?

Ya very jumpy here too.

Working ok now.

Christ, the last 3 horses I’ve seen haven’t sold.
Has it been like that all day? Couldn’t knock that last one down for 1k.

Ok answering my question here. According to the Goffs site they have shifted 42% of the horses that have come up so far today. No fancy prices paid yet either.

They got 70% I think at NH sales last week.

Quashed![/quote]

They’ll sleep easy in Killenaule tonight.

I was down there in the afternoon. Four fillies went in in a row, by sires like Refuse to Bend, One Cool Cat etc. I don’t think any of them could make a grand. You honestly wouldn’t get €100 for them. Nothing much wrong with them apart from no one wanting them.

Just reading on ATR site that Punjabi could be out of the Fighting Fifth now. Clears the way for Solwhit but depends on where Binocular goes I suppose?

Should be a decent afternoon in Clonmel as well but I’d say the track will be an absolute bog. Form can go out the window and instead keep a sharp eye on all the plodders. Will be hoping Moskova picks where she left off last year leaving the race in Punchestown aside.

I was going to saying that One Cool Cookie was a big price @ 6/1 morning tissue I saw for Grade 2 chase. He’s into 7/2 now and probably not worth a punt at that. Ran well enough in the race last year, jumps like a dream, has a decent run under his belt and has a 9lb reversal on Glenfinn Captain (last years winner) in this renewal.

into 3/1 now…

Watson Lake wins the watch, with OCC 2nd.

Watched it there, ground looked fairly bottomless, couldn’t make up any ground on the run in…

The ground looked cruel alright Puke. Thurles today will be bottomless but not even an inspection called. That course’s legendary drainage once more comes to the rescue.

Maybe you spoke too soon!

The rain that has fallen down here has been sick. I saw loughs of water in fields this morning that are never wet. The weekend will most likely be a wipeout of fixtures as well.

Zaynar was mightly impressive there in the Ascot hurdle.

Dinger of a chase up next. Voy Por V Schindlers Hunt V Monets Garden.

Ah stormy hungover sporting saturdays. You couldn’t bate em with a thorny stick.

I was sick to see my old friend Imperial Commander get beat in the photo today. What a hero of a horse.

Zaynar has World Hurdle written all over him for me but I suppose a strongly run Champion might be the target.

For all the world i thought Imperial had got up on the line to nab Kauto. Usually, your initial reaction to these close finishes are correct.

Imperial Commander = My old next door neighbour.

Headin to the Tingle Creek in Sandown next month on a stag lads. Apparently Masterminded is an absolute cert for the big one if he runs. Any word on whether he will or any ideas who’ll be running in the other races that day?
