Outstanding shout on Cairdin Mac had a few bob ew on it[/quote]
Great shout mac, fantastic winner led from pillar to post

Got Colbert Station at 7’s, a poor couple of days punting otherwise.

Huge punt on him , ted giving away nothing on Rte as he was plunging. A very easy winner of the paddy power, had it won 2 out

Thanks lads, got him at 16s on the track. None of the others raised a challenge. Danny fairly fucked up on mumbo jumbo but got away with it. Mags stable flying at the moment. 3 wins in 2 days.

Tomorrow is one of the best cards I’ve seen in years in Ireland. Boyle’s have let flemenstar out to 6/4. I’m seriously thinking of going in heavy. Willie didn’t want to take him on but is following orders from gigginstown I was told. Hidden Cyclone a great ew bet too if 8s or better.

From today, put raise the beat in your tracker. He could have won if bothered but hacked around comfortably into 3rd with no effort, almost like Shariyan last year.

Enjoyable day at Leopsrdstown.

Backed Flaxen Flare and Jezki so up a few quid. Annoyed I didn’t back In Great Form with bookies who paid 5 places - went for the better price but only 4 places :frowning:

How did your lad come out of his race? Any confidence behind mount benbulben tomorrow?

The non racing highlight of my day was a tie between seeing Gerry Thornley losing €50 on Glam Gerry and overhearing Dan Shanahan saying that Damien Fitzhenry was the greatest goalkeeper he’d ever played against.

Having spent 30 mins looking over tomorrow’s card in the pub I’ve reached the following conclusions

Geraghty riding for Hourigan in the first is worth looking into further. Mala Beach looks the pick of these.
Arthur Moore commands respect in the 2nd with the 7lb claimer.
Voler la Vedette will put a bad season behind her tomorrow
What a charm at the bottom of the weights with 7lb’s off his back sets off the alarm bells. Dont tell pa also worth looking at.
Why has McCoy chosen Jenari over The Westerner Boy? I want to side with Mount Benbulben here, once I know he’s right.
If Flemenstar is as good as I think he wont be beat. The SDC bubble will be burst. Hidden Cyclone will be the closest Challenger. Tidal Bay the biggest chance of pricking everything up.
I’ll be in the bar either celebrating or chasing my losses on the tote for the bumper.

I think what a charm is a pure thief…tidal bay can fuck of back to England with his horrible head carriage, he reminds me of father jack following the bottle of whiskey in that fr ted episode

I am seething after missing a well-executed gamble at Wolves tonight.

I am seething as well now you’ve told me, what was it?

Hittin The Skids, 6.00. Got the text while driving about 20 mins before the price collapse…when I missed the 8/1 I left it. Won at 5/2.

Going to to all in on Flemenstar too at 11/8, dont think Hidden Cyclone jumps well enough to trouble the principles, if Pandorama was straight he could

And i dont think you can oppose Back In Focus either…won very snugly against the very useful Lyreen Legend last time in Pun, there is no reason to oppose him from what i have seen…@ 6/4 its skimpy but if i have bookies money at that stage will be going in there

In the 3m, can see why people would side with VLV with the mares allowance etc but she’s been disappointing this season to date, there is no getting away from that. I really liked Monkslands run in the hatton grace and the way he was running on and sticking that neck out i think the extra 4 F might very well play to his strengths, @ 6/1 solid ew bet

The other bet i will have is in the christmass hurdle, somehow willie mullins has got quidiscover fontaine back (won it last year) at the same mark, but the second that day, pires comes in this time in better form, Ruby should ride a bit more prominently this time, and i’ll take him @ 13/2 to over turn the diminishing 1/2L he went down this time last year, same weight allowance with QF…

Great card !

I am also going to back Jimmy Mangans course specialist Castle Wings in the novice chase in limerick

Hope you do better than the tripe you doled out today kid!

not good fagan, a bit unlucky with tullintain in limerick, that would have turned it to black, hard with all these hot pots, sizing, mumbo jumbo, simonsig etc, they are all trying this time of year

Ah I am only winding you up. You still nearly broke even if you did all the bets each way And I pushed myself into the black betting on Wade to win 4-0.

good man…i try to find a bit of value, its easy to post up the 6/4 shots, i am a bit worried now re Back in focus, i see FP warning me over on CH that he’s not as good…

Can you copy over fp’s thoughts? Interested on what he thinks about New Years Eve now too.

No he cannot, they are the property of Fenway and Clarehurlers forum, if you want to read them log onto the site
