Do Gigginstown tend to keep the horses with whoever has them when they are bought like JP does?
I think he has a few lads that pick up horses from the PtoP scene anyway. I know Pat Doyle’s was doing it for a while but I could be corrected on this.
Anyone been to Aintree for the National?
Looking to book a few tickets and trying to decide the best enclosure. I won’t be too bothered about beer and grub, I just want access to the parade ring, bookies and good view of the course.
Hmm, myself and a forum member of which you are acquainted 2RE were discussing the same thing recently actually and the possibility of going to it this year. I believe it’s handy enough get tickets, i know a fella from Tour who goes every year and i could be mistaken but it is my belief that he never needed a ticket. Paid on the day.
You see I heard the opposite from a regular attendee, he advised me to get on the case asap.
I have a few contacts that will easily sort me for a few tickets but wouldn’t be sure what enclosure I’d be landed in.
Presume you would be as well off going for the more expensive tickets. I’d say there is a fair amount of riff raff at it. Plenty of once a year merchants lagered up in their cheap suits. Twould suit the likes of The Runt down to the ground
Go for the top level stand at the finish line. Queen stand or something like that. Best view of any stand on the course. Tickets probably pricey but well worth it.

Was looking at that but it’s sold out. The West Tip seems the way to go.
Actually fuck that, the west tip is shit.
The county stand or earl of Derby stand look good, prices are scandalous though. £93!
