The Sport of Kings & Equine Matters 🐐

365 been down all day, still waiting for my Solwith winnings

Yes, on the mobile they were anyway

Apparently John Duggan tipped the winner on the radio yesterday

Teaforthree
Cappa Bleu
Oscar Time
Rare Bob

Powers pay out first 5, VC first 6.[/quote]

Nice. Great tipping Mac

Fehily made a silly move on the very wide outside with a mile to go, way too early. Took too much out of him and as soon as he got in touch then he went out like a light

Didnt Harvey smith give the finger to somebody during The aga khan back in the late 70s? Fagan might shed some light, have a vague memory of him acting the maggot

No bother at all. Thought Tarquinius was going to get up into top 6 as had backed him with VC but ran out of steam. Got a great spin around. Was hampered by a Seabass mistake about 5 out but doubt that would have made a difference.

Something must’ve been amiss with Chicago Grey.

Gonna throw a few quid on Jumps Road in the next purely for Trainer / Jockey combo and an attractive price.

No horse or jockey injured

Chicago grey saw the the grass on the fences and tried to eat it, he didnt jump

Took tea43, rare bob and cappa bleu so very happy. With the ground on the side Chicago grey was always going to have a lot to do.

Very fast national from my memory of them?

He tipped winner at 80/1 and Teaforthree as well I think.

Course is easy nowadays, no doubt about i

I thought the same. Seemed to fly around the first circuit which killed a good few off.

And for a lad that gets an unbelievable amount of criticism Sam Waley-Cohen rode another super race. Whats his record around Aintree now? Been placed 2-3 times on top of being placed in multiple Gold Cups. Not bad for a lad who apparently can’t ride.

Dunno kid, the shorter run up gave that impression. It was probably a much quicker race based on that alone. They got well strung out by the end of the first circuit. Rare bob and cappa bleu finished like trains to place. Mania did well on auroras encore and credit to swc - gave Oscar time a lovely ride

They were all standing after 5, and jockeys were under instruction to go off slow , indications are is was slowish we will get time soon enough

Have also thrown a few quid on Quickpick Vic in the last race. Looks overpriced and Cooper could ride around in his sleep today. Been placed in pretty much every race. Worst result was Won in The Dark just been beaten out of 3rd at 66/1. Rubys lad for Nichols also looks an attractive price.

Tistory is the one to beat in bumper. Henderson always targets his best bumper horse at this race. he is very short though. The fact that they have chosen tistory over welsh wizard tells you all you need to know.

Jumps Road runs out of steam and finishes about 7th. Look like he could be a winner jumping the 2nd last.
