Good shouts with Big Occasion lads.
Fenners, please provide your punchestown previewâŚthanks in advance
Fenners, for a change could you eschew your usual habit of posting about what horses you like, etc and post a few winners instead. Itâs nice that you like animals, but I am only in this for the money.
Will add a bit more detail later but ones iâm keen on are
Jezki
Citizenship
Harry Topper
Days Hotel w/o Sprinter Sacre
Just looking at prices for the grade 1 novice chase. Cant believe mount benbulben is 16s. He is way way overpriced as he gets his optimum conditions tomorrow.
Heâs running today fp, nowhere near that price?
What do you think og hisabats chances?
Unusual to see ruby take BiF over Boston bob, would indicate latter not going well since che
4.20 - A small but very select field line up for the Grade 1 novice hurdle over 2m. This race features the Supreme Novice winner Champagne Fever and the third home Jezki. The latter finished just under 3 lengths behind Champagne Fever at the Festival. I would be confident that over this less testing track and Barry Geraghty riding, that Jezki can reverse the form. At 13-8 he represents a decent win bet.
4.50 - In this Grade C handicap over the minimum trip, I fancy Citizenship to run a big race at 14-1 for Jessie Harrington. I believe that he is still reasonably handicapped and his last two runs have been full of promise.
5.30 - The highlight of Day 1 is the Grade 1 Boylesport Chase over 2m. Sprinter Sacre is unopposable but Days Hotel represents a bit of value at 7-2 in the without market. He will relish this ground and this assure jumper may just get the better of his more illustrious stable mate, Sizing Europe. In fact, just looking at the odds and Days Hotel is 33-1 with Ladbrokes. He is a better bet ew (1/4 odds first 2).
6.40 - In the Grade 1 novice chase over 3m 1f, I was immediately drawn to Harry Topper, but his price has contracted somewhat and there is little value left at 9-2. I would have no hesitation at putting up Gordon Elliotâs Mount Benbulben at 18-1 ew as an alternative. This horse optimum conditions are deep ground, right handed track and a test of stamina. He gets all these tomorrow. There is obviously concerns about his jumping, but at the price he is worth the risk. He will win a decent pot someday, and that day may be tomorrow.

I dont follow you KC?
Think Hissabaat has fallen out of love with the game to be honest.
Major news from Godolphinâ
@BBCSport: Godolphin trainer Mahmood Al Zarooniâs yard found to have 10 of 45 horses tested come up positive for anabolic steroids, says BHA.
Certify out of 1000 Guines as a result. This is an explosive story.

The Sheikh will be livid that the lad he put in charge of bribing the BHA was asleep here.

Possibly the best chaser ever is gracing our shores tomorrow and youâre cluttering the place up with this stuff.

You are better off leaving that bumper alone (argument could be made for bumpers in general). He is clear form choice (of the little bit there is on view). Race nearly always throws up a decent sort and there maybe any number of good ones lurking here. If I was forced to have a bet, Iâd back whatever the gigginstown first string is as they always run their best bumper horses at this meeting.
All in all, a race to watch with a view to the future BT.
BIG NEWS JUST IN
Iâm going to go to Punchestown.

No, just taking a jaunt up myself.
Cheers, celebrations were confined to Saturday night, championship in two weeks.
