The Sport of Kings & Equine Matters šŸ

Just about sums up my day.
Moyle Park @ 9/4 was my only winner.

Cracking day out though, great racing, great weather, super atmosphere and great facilities.

Macā€¦ How we fixed?
Habesh and Tranquil sea as e/w value?

What Iā€™m hearing is that he was struck into at the start

o_O
I gave you the market mover from 12/1 into 5/1 favourite before he moved. Blame Townend for the rest

Thanks boys for Mount Benbulbenā€¦

More detail tomorrow. Any word from DB on Bayan much appreciated. Hadnā€™t realised heā€™s won on Dundalk since Easter.

Sir Ector a non runner Mac

Probably wonā€™t get involved then. Questions Answered has a nice mark but heā€™s had a long season so wouldnā€™t be too sure.

Interesting article this.

Al Zarooni case poses many questions:

Been thinking about this over the morning. Having seen how Sprinter Sacre looked tired yesterday Iā€™m beginning to have doubts about First Lieutenant. Cheltenham was only 5 weeks ago and 3 races in that short space of time is tough for any NH horse especially mid-long distance chases. Heā€™d also appreciate much better ground and soft/heavy wonā€™t work in his favour.

At this rate I wouldnā€™t be surprised to see Quito de la Roque go close. He loves Punchestown, is better going right handed and loves a slog. He shouldnā€™t have the class to win this but I wouldnā€™t be surprised. This race threw up a massive shock in 2011 and 2010 so its happened before.

Small few quid on Seader in the first.
watch for tasitiocht in the 4.55, carries 10 stone and will be the main Mullins horse in the race (Tennis Cap had his day out)

Christy Roche would worry you in this race. It is unusual to have just one South Liberties horse in a reasonable handicap.
This wasnā€™t a bad shout either. Came in 5th in a race where PP were paying first five.

Beau Michael springs a 25/1 shock for Adrian McGuinness in the first.

Bayan a non-runner

Good call on Brian Who Fenway

Gassin Golf places in the second. Mac

Unlucky with Gassin Golf Mac, hesitant jump at the last cost it. Got 5/1 on it too :frowning:

The winner Dalasari landed an almighty gamble earlier on in the year and Geraghty gave it a great ride.

Went win only on the fucker. Was he beaten by much?

No, was leading over the last but had an awkward jump out to the side and gave away a couple of lengths, closed all the way to the line but the winner held on by about 1/4 length.

Looked the winner coming to last flight, but gave it too much air and Dalarsari flew it and went on to win by about 1/2 length. He was too keen throughout. He is one to watch as he obviously has a big engine.

Looking forward to seeing if Ballycasey can justify his big reputation here.
