Wins with consumate ease
The greatest:clap:
Distance lads?
The doubters and nay sayers silenced yet again
Cant wait to see him cross swords with Our Conor, Jezki, The New One et al next year.
I have to stop fuckin opposing that horse
Binocular will destroy him next year
Next race will be a bit of a joke. At least weβll be spared the sight of that sour face riding the winner.
Tomorrow has the hallmarks of a Mullins benefit day. He has 4 of the 6 in the 4yo hurdle and a clatter in the handicaps.
I might finally have a bumper winner for tomorrow
Lads, has that yoke wedding present ever been out of the first 3?
Ruby fucked up on vesper earlier
No.
Sounds like Ubak was just held off there. The treble on the 3 Mullins horses paid about 4/1. Looking like money for old rope. At least one of my predictions from last night is working out - of no benefit to me though.
Iβm hoping Festive Affair can get in the places to save my day.
How much was Moscow Mannon beaten by? Festive affair was the one I was most confident about so hopefully the best has been saved till last.
13 lengths, close enoughβ¦
That was the expected bloodbath. Time to regroup and go to war tomorrow.
The bookies are getting fucked up tomorrow.
Thatβs the spirit Mac.
Tomorrow signals the end of the Jumps Season with good cards at Sandown and Punchestown. Hopefully we will round off the week with a decent price winner.
2.05 Sandown - In this class 2 handicap over 2m 3f, it is impossible to ignore the claims of Minella Forfitness. On his last start he ran out a tidy winner over a similar type of trip. The handicapper raised him 9 pounds to 144 for that effort. He still looks reasonably well handicapped and is the most unexposed horse in the race. At 7-2, he should get punters off to a good start.
2.40 Sandown - In the Grade 2 Celebration Chase over the minimum trip I fancy the novice Sire De Grugy to go well at 8-1. On his penultimate start at Aintree he found the good ground all against him. I have always thought that he is a better horse going right handed and he will be more at home on the forecast good to soft ground tomorrow. This is a much more open race than the betting suggest with those at the front of the market less than reliable.
3.50 Sandown - The bet365 Gold Cup over 3m 5f is the last big staying chase of the season. I fancy Hold On Julio to run a big race at 12-1. He has to put a bad effort on his last start behind him but the application of first time blinkers might just do the trick. The Alan King yard has had a renaissance in the last couple of weeks and Hold On Julio looks primed to record his third victory at the track.
5.35 Punchestown - In this Grade B hurdle over 2m 4f, Mags Mullins Cairdin looks overpriced at 20-1. This horse absolutely needs deep ground and his record at the track is 2 - 1- 6. He showed improved form on his penultimate start, where he wore first time blinkers. These are reapplied tomorrow and I would be disappointed if he cant make his presence felt off 133 with so much in his favour.
