These cunts keep saying the ground will not suit klept,I hope they are wrong[/quote]

Nice one.

He haqd it heading for the stands the numpty

The Limerick Summer13 bandwagon continues to roll and is knocking down all in its way

Ah thatā€™s a marvellous story

How lucky were they the ground went against Like Your Style

I won about ā‚¬15 on that. My scientific reasoning was that the father of a friend of mine is from Carlingford.

That probably makes you champion tipster on here by this stage of the game:p

I follied Mac and went ew on MuirheAd. So that was grand. Mac knows the score when it comes to steeplechasing.

How are my p&l figures looking Fagan?

They are looking good Mac. I am up about 22.32 percent on your NH punts whereas I am down 38.17 per cent following Rossum on boards.

If I could stick to just NH myself Iā€™d be happy.

On that topic I just looked at the hurdle tomorrow there. Fuck me but its like a gallery of horses Iā€™ve backed to win or be placed at massive prices in the last year.

Flaxen Flare won in Cheltenham at 40s, Il Fenomeno won in Punchestown at 25s, Make Your Mark and Shadow Catcher both placed in Cheltenham.

Iā€™m going to struggle badly between heart and head on this.

DancingBaby, any word on Elliottā€™s 3? How long has JP owned Cause of Causes?

I am shattered since Monday , been following edeymi for nearly 2 years knowing he was being lined up, wanted to throw a 10 ew on him at 16 as he needs firm underfoot and something blew up at home and I forgot nearly got physically sick when I saw the result . Heā€™s in the long distance hurdle on sat but hell be nowhere near that

Well done Muirhead ew backers.

That was some punt on Carlingford Lough and what a way to break his maiden tag over fences.

Ted Veale will, understandably be all the rage tomorrow and it is not difficult to see him winning. I will put up Dylan Ross ew at 33s. He wont mind the ground and has won at the track. Had a nice pipe opening for this last month and looks on a good mark and weight for this.

I was going to back pique Sioux if the gnd was truly good

He was a good thing on decent ground alright. Hard to back him now.

A couple of meandering thoughts.

Cause of Causes is a super horse. However heā€™s been on the go for a long time without a proper break, especially for such a young horse. He caught my eye in Cheltenham in November and I wasnā€™t surprised at all to see him win that big handicap in newbury, albeit I didnā€™t back him.

I really like Flaxen Flare. He was killed in the weights after Cheltenham win but tomorrow looks much more appealing. As cliched as it sounds I think this yearā€™s 4 year olds are an exceptional bunch and Iā€™d have him at the top of the 2nd tier of them at worst which is more than enough to compete tomorrow once Davy doesnā€™t head for the stand again.

I also like Make your Mark. Have always liked him but he went off the boil for a while. Seems back to form and is a fair price for tomorrow.

Il Fenomeno is just too unpredictable. Capable of anything but on this occasion Iā€™m happy to leave him go.

Misunited is another that I like and sheā€™s been lined up for this race. However given how competitive it is Iā€™d prefer a longer price on her.

Ted Veale will probably be backed off the boards and fair play to Tony Martin if he wins. Iā€™ve never rated him as a trainer but Iā€™ve had to eat my words in 2013 on him. Canā€™t touch him at current price but every chance heā€™ll romp in.

My likely bet is 2 points e/w flaxen flare and 1 point e/w make your mark at best prices this evening.

I couldnā€™t give a fuck about the other races and will be booking my flights to Cheltenham in November shortly.

I booked my ā€˜flightā€™ today for the last 2 days of Listowel in September. Any TFKā€™ers heading down?

Thomas Edison is the one for me in the Hurdle.

Theyā€™ve been acting the bollocks with him for so long now, the only problem is the horse might forget what to do when they let off the handbrake
