Still no mention of the stalker on Friday either. I know the scriptwrites want to focus on the victims but they’re wandering around the Bay as though their lives aren’t in danger. Zoe’s focus might have been Detective Baker but she could have killed him any time on his own - clearly she has a grudge against the Bay at large. So why aren’t they worried?
No, there hasn’t been a mention of it - already they are veering towards the Belle/Amanda storyline - but the stalker issue seems far from resolved.
Another potential catastrophe in the Bay. I reckon everybody will be okay though, except maybe Kit.
I can’t believe we’ve been talking about Kenny Miller when there’s a chopper missing from the radar. They must have used all their 2006 budget on the stalker storyline because the least one would expect is that we saw them all piling into the chopper before it took off. Obviously couldn’t afford to hire one though.
Great to see a search party heading out though it was disappointing we didn’t see any orange overalls yet. I love the fact that Alf reckons he can co-ordinate the search for a missing chopper in Richmond Falls(?) from the Surf Club.
The cast is dropping like flies at the minute though. Didn’t like Alf holding his chest like that, who knows what’s going on with Tasha and her kid, Kit, Kim and Martha are in a helicopter wreck somewhere. They’re making light of Jack’s situation but he’s just had a liver transplant for chrissakes. He is in perilous danger.
Martha is on the chopper too. I forgot Belle was. They can hardly kill off all those characters can they? Belle would probably be the biggest loss but she’s calming down now. It’s ood about Mattie alright - imagine there was a danger of killing her off. There’d be a rosary said in your house tonight.
Martha would be the biggest loss. She delicious imo. I’d like to make romance inside of her.
Dicky ticker alright. What’s his contract status? He was making up his mind whether or not to stay last I heard.
Still out of contract at the end of the current season as far as I know. It hasn’t been resolved yet.
What a cliffhanger last night - literally. There must be 5 or 6 cast members at death’s door at this stage. Shame on anyone who goes boozing tonight - ye’re no friends of 'Ric.
What’s the story with this folks? Haven’t seen it since Tuesday and don’t want to read ahead on the official website.
Have to agree with all that Sam. I’ve never been really worried that the guys won’t be discovered.
Didn’t they say that the stalker died in the explosion though? There was a passing reference to it the other day but that was the only mention of it I’ve heard.
Means nothing to me, but probably does to some of you boys, that former ‘Home and Away’ star Belinda Emmett, who played Rebecca Fisher, died over the weekend after a battle with cancer, at the age of 32.
Thanks for that Law. I just read that Megan Connolly who filled in as Rebecca Nash (ne Fisher) when Belinda was diagnosed with cancer also died of a heroin overdose. Is the role cursed?
By the way I have attached the family tree that I mentioned to some of ye in the pub on Friday. You have to scroll in lots to read it but it’s an excellent resource. I wonder would somebody like Read’s of Nassau Street print it out A1 size for us. It would form an impressive backdrop to our forthcoming Christmas party and a great conversation starter for the many among us who don’t know eachother.
I’m not ashamed to admit that I even learned one or two things from it - I completely forgot how many Nash’s there are for example.
Natalie Nash (1998-2000)
Angelica la Bozzetta (1998); Antoinette Byron (1999-2000)
Episodes: 2323 - 2829
Husband: Joel Nash
Children: Tom Nash, Gypsy Nash/Smith and Connor Nash, Justine Welles and Peta Janossi (fostered)
Occupation: Athlete, Teacher
Natalie’s been through a lot of rough patches ever since she moved to the Bay. Her face changed completely after the first year on the shores of Summer Bay now wonder that she shrunk and her face looked younger and fresher over night. But let’s start right from the beginning with them sort of wretched arrival in the Bay not being welcomed by anyone but an empty house and then meeting Travis on the driveway after so many years away in Hong Kong by being insulted as the local pervert by Tom beloved brother of Joel, Travis Nash! Natalie didn’t have very exciting problems to be solved in the first place only coping with her snobby stubborn daughter Gypsy and doing her gym stuff at school till Robert Perez the new local moron or let’s rather say renegade of sweet revenge popped out of the woodwork offering to tutor Gypsy and even to suck Natalie into his evil games by offering to compose crosswords for her. But Robert was caught out by Will and Tom which led to Gypsy’s ordeal and Joel’s abduction and a deliberately lit fire at the Nash’s house with Nat, Tom and Gypsy in it changing their lives forever. Nat held hostage by Robert managed miraculously to dial a number on the mobile under the cushion or so being Jessie’s and thus she was lucky to be released by the fake pizza man, the husband of hers, Joel. Robert’s attempt to get back on Joel because of his years he had to spend in prison led to a severe trauma of Gypsy. Nat had to deal with Gypsy not being attentive at school even being hit by a netball because of being drunk. After Gypsy seemed the have overcome the trauma for good there were accusations of her of Jesse having an affair till Jesse and Gypsy were caught out by Joel and Nat. Tom being on the run with Justine because of the manslaughter court case wore Nat down big time and led to some relationship jeopardising arguments between Nat and Joel. And Tom’s affair with local policewoman Terry wasn’t healthy for Joel and Nat’s marriage either, one can tell!!!
Taking over the caravan park after Travis’ and Rebecca’s departure wasn’t easy either along with the burden of fostering Justine and then Peta! And the latest and hardest part of Nat’s roller coaster-life was her expecting a baby but not from Joel as it turned out but by long lost pal Glen when visiting her parents. Gypsy caught Nat in the act pashing around with her lover in one of the mall’s dinner, which partially caused Gypsy’s severe car crash with boozer Charlie who died afterwards in hospital. Gypsy was never able to forgive her mum but kept her mouth shut for the time being but always dropped sort of innuendo making the other wonder what’s up with her and Nat. Nat couldn’t stand the inner pain anymore and turned to Joel telling him the naked truth. Joel couldn’t believe his ears when learning about the shocking facts and it a short but intensive disruption followed. Joel tried to give in eventually and all seemed to be smooth sailing again till he dropped a thoughtless remark on the to be born child and thus Nat decided in a helter-skelter way to leave the bay for good along with young Rachel in a cab. Nat won’t return anymore and we’ll never find out what her future will look like.
I was a fan of hers alright. The first Natalie was very athletic and not as hot.
Just got a look at that family tree now. That is absolute class. Some cracking characters down through the years in that.
There hasnt been much discussion on home and away lately.
I havent enjoyed the past few storylines the helicopter crash and the losties just annoyed me Im surprised they let the helicopter guy survive though; I was expecting a token death. Was disgusted with the Jack and Tasha storyline, seeing as they bonded because they were so devastated with the thought of their lost loved ones, you would expect them to be a bit happier when they actually survived.
I liked Drew for about five minutes yesterday and then he went back to being Dan junior.
I must say I am very pleased with the introduction of Brad as a potential suitor for Sally. It may still be a bit too soon after Flynn but you can already see them building the tension between the two.
I am also intrigued about who set the school fire. Theres no way it can be another stalker but it will be a great way for Sally and Brad to bond if the school is going to be targeted.
I’ve missed quite a few episodes over the past 2 weeks including the resolution of the Lost characters - but I’d little enough interest in their welfare to be honest. How did it all end?
Yesterday’s episode wasn’t bad. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen Dan do any counselling - even though we didn’t even get to see him do any work it was at least referred to. Noah would have had a field day the past few weeks with Josh, Tasha, Matilda and everyone else but Dan’s happy to take a back seat like the waste of space he is. Drew looks like a useless character.
What happened between Jack and Tasha in the end?
I presume we don’t know what’s up with Brad do we? Sally deserves another man in her life I think and Brad does seem a decent candidate.
