Both Niland and Sorenson qualify for the US open main draw.

Niland vs Djokovic
Sorensen vs Soderling

Great draws for the lads there. Hope they put up a good show. Ya never know Djokovic could retire injured with this shoulder injury he has.

Rafa is about to take the first set for Spain against Tsonga in the Davis Cup. If Rafa wins this match, Spain will be in the final.

Argentina lead Serbia 2-1 in the other tie, would be great to see Serbia and Spain in the final

Florin Mayer just beat Nadal fairly comfortably in the Shanghai Masters. Quality performance from the German. You get some strange results in these end of season Masters events. This one looks to be wide open for Murray now anyway, since neither Djokovic nor Fed entered the draw.

Paris Masters final on at the moment. Federer versus Tsonga. Fed was dominant in the first, winning it 6-1. Second set has been excellent so far. 5-5 at the moment.

Another Masters title in the bag for The Greatest.

The greatest player in the history of tennis has just destroyed Rafael Nadal 6-3 6-0.

Argentina have taken the doubles in the Davis Cup in a raucous atmosphere in Seville.

Spain lead 2-1 after Nadal and Ferrer won their games yesterday. Should be a stunning final day.

I expect Nadal to split with his coach soon after this tournament.

That would be disappointing as Uncle Toni has been a massive influence on the greatest tennis player of all time.

Rafa Nadal.

Just switched it on, some forehand down the line to secure the break. Did Del Potro play well early on? Commentators seem to be implying that it was more that Nadal had a horror first set. Would love to see Del Potro getting back to his best.

Rafa Nadal lighting up the Olympic Stadium in Seville much like Henrik Larsson did in May 2003.

Don’t know Braz, I just tuned in at 3-1 in the second set.

Great to see Sergio Ramos in attendance to support his close friend.

Deafening noise in Seville as the Argentine faithful still try and rouse their team.

Amazing scenes here, what an atmosphere!

Fucking hell, this is class. The fact that there is a significant Argie crowd in there makes this an even better Davis Cup atmosphere than ususal.

Wonderful stuff, the massive Argentine following have energised their team.

A special, special tournament.
