Those mens matches yesterday were a disappointment. Medvedev destroyed Tiafoe and Thiem destroyed Felix. Hopefully quarters are a bit more competitive.

She has lost her last 4 slam finals, hasn’t won one since Australia 2017. She’s getting on now and the women at the top are over a decade younger. This was her best chance, depleted field with Covid, on home soil.
Up until 2015 her final record was P25 W21 L4
Since then it’s P8 W2 L6.

Thiem v Zverev in the final.
Very convincing from Dom in straight sets over Medvedev.
Disappointed with Medvedev thought he could have taken Thiem.
Thiems to lose now. Still not convinced by Zverev
Zverev would probably be out had he to navigate Thiem’s or Medvedev’s route but he’s now only one big performance away.
Hope Thiem wins though. He deserves a slam, apparently he is carrying a bit of a heel injury which would be a worry.
