He had to do a major backtrack when I showed him quotes where Federer accused Djokovic of faking injuries.

The fact that Zverev only scraped that set when his serving stats were so good must be a big worry for him.

Odd that you’re bringing Nadal into the discussion. He’s not playing until tomorrow. Obsessed.

The narrative from Nadal supporters though is that he’s the only player who’s ever had to deal with adversity or injury.

More deflection.

The tournaments are organised to try and beat Nadal. He basically has one arm tied behind his back.

I still haven’t heard you call out the Wimbledon organisers for breaking from Atp protocol when they used their own seeding system for the draw last year as opposed to the world rankings which are meant to be used for slam seedings.

In a remarkable turn of events they put roger pederar on the easier side of the draw and Nadal on the more difficult side of the draw.

I see the medication that Djokovic is taking has kicked now.

ATP Protocol? You’re having a laugh surely. The ATP has been around since 1972. The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club has been with us as custodians of the sport for over a century longer, since 1868 and have been running the blue riband event of the sport, the Championship since 1877.

As ever you have a very poor grasp of facts. There was no Championship last year because of the bat flu. The last staging was in 2019.

I take it you are referring to the whinging Nadal was doing in 2019 that he was seeded 3 and Federer was seeded 2 and that it wasn’t vica versa.

As it happened in 2019, the 2nd seed was seeded to face the 3rd seed in the semi final so you are wrong (yet again). Federer and Nadal were on the same side of the draw. Federer beat Nadal comfortably enough in 4 sets in the semi final.

If you have a gripe with the perfectly sensible seeding system of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, we do have a club member here on the forum. @Tassotti will be more than happy I’d imagine to deal with your gripes.

Zverev is a total bottler.

Djokovic coming from 1-4 down now to cruise the third set 6-4.

Zverev is done. He does not have the mental resolve to hold it together in a 5 set tournament.

Zverev should be home and hosed by now. Djokovic still has that aura of super mental toughness which forces his opponents to make loads of unforced errors, hes certainly not the player he was and I think zverev wins set 5 handy here( edit* if he gets there)

Zverev is even more of a bottler than Djokovic is mentally tough.

The first man to lose a slam final that they were 2 sets up in over 20 years.

Set point Zverez.

Yes, he’s only won 8 Australian Opens before with crowds

He gets very frustrated with the crowd at times particularly when they are cheering for opponents.

In a game like this it’s his concentration that usually does him in.

That’s some clamping.

You wouldn’t know tennis if the racket hit you in the face.

Thanks for admitting Wimbledon fiddled with their seedings to screw Rafa also.

Match point Djokovic.

Zverev holds.

Zverev will thrive in Wimbledon this year.

Match Djokovic.

Zverev 3/12 on break points.
Djokovic 6/9.

Zverev has all the physical and technical ability to win slams but he’s a bottler.

Hard to see past Djokovic now.

Extra days rest before the final, his semi final will be over in 2 hrs against a player outside the top 100.

Medvedev the only one left who can beat him from here in these circumstances.
