I thought the mini break when he went 5-4 up and he tried the drop shot was going to be it for him. Hitting massive forehand winners all night but prone to mental lapses.

Yeah, the drop shot was crazy, he was in at the net and should have just bashed it past.
Djokovic spooks people like that though as he is the greatest defender the game has ever seen, you can hammer shots past him that are winners against anyone else and he can contort his body to get this slow return that clips the baseline time and time again that allows him to get back into position.
You won’t beat Djokovic with power, you have to outcraft him which was part of what Musetti did so well in the first two sets the other day.

Berrettini has consistently applied the pressure on Djokovic’s serve all match. His attitude has been spot on so far and he hasn’t let his lack of capitalising get to him.
