Potential for an all-time classic match here. After staying up til 1am to watch the 49ers-Packers last night, I’m gonna be fairly knackered tomorrow. At times like these, I wish I was briantinnion.[/quote]
I still fancy Muz in 3. The disappointing thing here is that I don’t think Djokovic raised his game that much to get back into it.
He’d basically been beating himself up until that point, and he’s stopped doing that. Lovely lob there, and that was a good game from him in general. Think Murray will do well to hold serve here.
Djokoovic took Murray to school in the last 20 minutes and was aiming some precision bullets at the Dublane man. But that last game showed his vulnerability to the wind. Could be another shootout in this set.

I only half agree. He was half beating himself but Murray was the much better player IMO.
Djokovic has come out very strongly at the start of the third and makes the breakthrough. Murray handed him a double fault at 15-30 but great game from Djokovic otherwise.
Djokovic all over Murray’s serve now. He’s stepped it up since the start of the third, playing the best tennis either man has played tonight at the moment.
Djokovic given a time violation warning, which (if I heard correctly) Peter Fleming rightly condemns as a “shitty call”. Not the usual vocabulary for Sky commentators.
I have to say it was one of the best games of tennis I’d seen. Some of the rallys were sublime and both players ability to scramble and force one more shot was stunning, particularly as they were clearly running on vapour in the later sets.
It wasn’t of the quality of either of the Federer-Nadal Wimbledon finals, or their Aussie Open final. Fed-Delpo US Open final was better too. The Nadal-Djokovic finals in Flushing Meadows and Melbourne were better too. Not really the fault of the players yesterday, the conditions just didn’t allow it.
Djokovic-Federer in the World Tour Final on Sky Sports at the moment. It’s back on serve in the first set after Roger jumped out to a 3-0 lead early on. Novak serving at 3-4 but crucially with the new balls. Great atmosphere in London.
