Spoke too soon looks like court 1 has killed Kyrgios.
Big John Isner, all 6ft 10 of him has crashed out in the second round to a 5ft 7 Japanese chap.
What’s the running giraffe-count now?
The two biggest giraffes, Reilly Opelka and John Isner are out. Both lost to baby giraffes 1 ft and 1 ft 3 shorter than them.
Courts are apparently very slow this year. Not giraffe friendly.
Good to see Murray win.

Djokovic has a knack of getting very easy early round draws. Can’t see anyone really threatening him before the final.
The other half of the draw has Berrettini, Federer, Medvedev and Zverev.
I like Berrettini for the final this year. Think he is playing really well.
Norrie will be a tough opponent for Federer, a leftie too.
Couple of tasty matches today. Looking forward to the Khachanov vs tiafoe, Evans vs Korda, and shapovalav vs Murray.
Fancied Shapovalov as a dark horse to go well in the tournament. Good test for him against Sir Andy today. The 2013 and 2016 champion has spent a lot of time on court so far, which will most likely tell against him.
Shapovalov takes a bruising first set 6-4. That’ll have taken a lot out of Sir Andy.
Shapovalov a double break up in the 2nd set and in complete control against Sir Andy here.
Shapovalov breaks in the opening game of the 3rd set.
I’d fancy Shapovalov to make the semi finals from that second quarter of the draw. His game is made for grass.
Bit of a reality check for Murray tonight.
18 year old Emma Radacanu is the pride of England in front of a full house at Wimbledon, what a day of sport this promises to be. Paddy stuck at home shitting himself still after 18 months of covid with no end in sight
The party is over for Scotland’s Andy Murray
A Canadian born Romanian. British tennis always seems to be about imports. Konta, Edmund, Rusedski, Norrie, Bedene etc
She’s in England since she was a young child in fairness
A proper londoner, a product of a open, multicultural and inclusive society
Federer to serve for the match now. Medvedev and Cilic underway too.
