Well done novak. He’s the nation of Australia driven demented

The best we’ve ever seen.

Hopefully he can patch himself together now to be ready to take on Zverev.

LOL

That’s a bit of a stretch calling Australia, a nation. It’s a Commonwealth Dominion.

Was it lapsed post @Tassotti that wanted Nigel farage to go down there to run it

Sinner on auto pilot today, just going through the motions against De Minaur. It was forgone conclusion so forgone that De Minaur other half Katie Boulter left for home before this match.

The Aussies disgracing themselves as per usual.

Disappointing to see such an anti climatic walkover in a Grand Slam semi final, but well done Sascha. Hopefully, that’s the last we see of Novak on Rod Laver.

Sinner will take the Soviet apart in the final.

I think if it was any other round other than the semi or the Final Djokovic would have given a walkover. When he got injured against Alcaraz, he was never going to ready for the semi final. Shows how good he is that Alcaraz couldn’t finish him off and Zverev won the first set on a tie-break. It looks like that fucker father time is catching up on Djokovic now.

He’s nearly 38. Body can’t withstand 7 matches every second day or so to win a Grand Slam. Djokovic had 2 long 5 sets in Round 3 and Round 4 of French last year. After emerging from that broken up, he conceded a walkover to Casper Ruud in quarter final. Same thing happened to Federer and Nadal near the end, they had some epic one off wins, rolling back the years only to concede a walkover or retire early next round.

Djokovic is dropping down the rankings as well, so you are running into heavier traffic. Djokovic was Number 7 seed so his path to winning it was having to beat Alcaraz (3), Zverev (2) and Sinner (1) in the final. Sinner is in the final in about 3rd gear and has only faced seeds 8, 13 and 21.

@Chucks_Nwoko how is Zach getting on? The clips are a bit ‘oirish’

Sabalenka v Keys 2-2 in the 3rd set.

Madison Keys wins it 7-5 in the 3rd. First Grand Slam win.

Wide-open era in women’s tennis as far as the Grand Slams go, no dominant player in sight

Excellent. She played great against Swiatek in the semi final. Completely overpowered her.

Delighted for her. She’s a good sort, Madison Keys. Sabalenka is a dose.

Sinner takes the first set 6-3, Zverev lacking the gears when Sinner takes it up a notch

Zverev has forced the second to at least a tie-break, 6-5 up. Sinner perhaps being bothered by a strain at the top of his hamstring

Sinner being pushed hard here, wins a 21-shot rally as the penultimate point in the twelfth. Tie-break.
