Tsonga and Wawrinka were having verbals at the change of ends in one of the sets about who was looking at who.

There’s your answer. Too one dimensional and repeatedly freezes up on the big points. He had 6 set points in the 2nd set to level it up. Only one was on his own serve - he double faulted, but he had real prospects on at least 3 of the set points on Nadal’s serve, but fluffed them all.
Unlike Raonic, Dimitrov has the talent and the game to really put it up to an in form Nadal. Whether he has the mindset is the big question.
