Read up on it there. Must try to track it down, though it sounds grim.

Memphis Belle was on TCM lately, very underrated.

Self isolation might be the best thing that ever happened to Fagan. I wouldn’t be surprised if he faked his positive result.

Black Hawk Down is a good switch off yarn.

Tora Tora Tora on after 5 on More 4. That’s this evenings viewing sorted.

A real staple of that post-Christmas, pre-back to work period.

Enjoyed that.

Is where eagles dare on the TV over Christmas at all, or is it available to view on any platform?

It is grim, and slow, and didn’t make a lot of sense to me.

Outstanding show

You can search the Radio Times web page. It gives three possible times on TCM. The first is New Years Day at 11:35am.

Enjoyed that. It’s a movie that has a reputation for being a bit dull but historically accurate.

Watching Tora Tora Tora, I recalled that we had a brother in the school, Brother Keane, who ran the school shop, who was known as Tojo after General Hideki Tojo. Brother Keane had a somewhat oriental appearance.

Dam Busters today. 1 o’clock Channel 4. Not a great time to have it on, dinner time. So I might record it and watch it later. Maybe after teatime.
Recently read Max Hastings book about the episode so looking forward to the film.

The special effects weren’t great. Absolutely zero really.
