Rambo first blood part 2 on here… Rambo is gonna bring the POWs home.

Rambo is only a cod.

It’s so bad it’s good.

Sylvester Stallone is a ham.

Some Man with a bow and arrow tho.

Rocky was a masterpiece.

Sometimes you strike me as being rather dim

Following me around now eh  love it.

Christ… They’ve only gone and left Rambo behind enemy lines here and he’s been captured. Not sure how he’ll get out of this one.

Cracking looking female lead in that film, doesn’t last long though.

What would you know about it… I survived a tour of Vietnam in 2006. Lucky to get out in one piece .

A stint in Nam was a stroll in the park for a fella born and raised in Moyross

Nearly drowned while doing acid in a giant tyre floating down a river full to the gills of the dengue fever?

No he was supposed to be chaperoning Donal Og Cusack.

Saw the end of it on TCM earlier

Watched a good bit of the Battle of the Bulge there yesterday. Believed to be very inaccurate historically and the locations were a hoot - it looked more like Morocco than the Ardennes, there wasn’t a tree in sight in a movie supposed to be set in a Forest. Eisenhower went to the trouble of denouncing it for its inaccuracy.

Still there was a very clever and tense end to the movie where the German villain Hessler got blown to smithereens.

Taking a day out from the war films today and I’m going to watch a cowboy picture here, Shenandoah.

Great movie the ending would make a glass eye cry. Shenandoah that is.

Patton is the greatest War movie ever made

It was the movie that inspired me to start this thread.
