I have to update my prior rating regarding new album vs LITD. I got high as a flock of kites last night and listened to ADU while cooking dinner. Iām not sure I have heard a better headphone album, the production and guitar playing is simply breathtaking. Apparently he spent a colossal amount of time in the studio working on it.
Sonically fantastic but Iām not overly gone on the vocalist for whatever reason.

To be honest they morphed i to each other.
In terms of lyrics they are similar, but i would say what you are hearing is just better practiced studio work.
Are they using organs alot? There is some wind sound in it thats awesome.

Itās probably the Bob Dylan factor. Some find his voice OK, most find it mildly irritating and a lot find it horribly grating. Adam Granducial sounds like Tom Petty who sounds like Dylan. My wife canāt stand Bob Dylan, and although her musical taste is generally good, canāt warm to the TWOD at all.
Its mans music though. Seriously, no woman i know takes to it

The last person to confuse Bryan Adams with Ryan Adams got fucked out anyway. There is an Americana musical style similarity with Ryan Adams but not in the voice.
