šŸŒ¬ The Weather Thread part 2

@Fagan_ODowd & @anon67715551 wasnt there a big freeze in the 50s?

my dad used to tell me that the slaney froze over

This is not our first lockdown. We were locked down in 82 with no power, closed transport links and food shortages. Covid is a doddle in comparison mainly because Iā€™m not wearing a scratchy jumper this time.

Late 40s I think. They could not dig graves ground was so hard ?

Iā€™ll put to you this way. We built an igloo.

Seriously, when did it happen? Somebody on TFK was able to forecast something that met Eireann didnā€™t ?

Look out your window

I did ask if you were serious

This is pretty much exactly what Met Eireann have been forecasting since early last week, they donā€™t always have it spot on but they do now

This weather thread is triggering some fellas

Its a beautiful day

Itā€™s shaping up to be a major let down for those expecting widespread proper snow

Thank fcuk ā€¦tell me more ā€¦

Yeah, from rte 1 to rte 2.
Or vice versa.

It looks like their wonā€™t be much depth to the snow and thereā€™ll be rain following in behind pretty quickly. Those in the south of the country might see a bit more action.
