This is not our first lockdown. We were locked down in 82 with no power, closed transport links and food shortages. Covid is a doddle in comparison mainly because Iām not wearing a scratchy jumper this time.
Late 40s I think. They could not dig graves ground was so hard ?
Iāll put to you this way. We built an igloo.
Seriously, when did it happen? Somebody on TFK was able to forecast something that met Eireann didnāt ?
Army helicopters foddering sheep in the hills and mountains
Look out your window
I did ask if you were serious
This is pretty much exactly what Met Eireann have been forecasting since early last week, they donāt always have it spot on but they do now
This weather thread is triggering some fellas
Its a beautiful day
Itās shaping up to be a major let down for those expecting widespread proper snow
Thank fcuk ā¦tell me more ā¦
Yeah, from rte 1 to rte 2.
Or vice versa.
It looks like their wonāt be much depth to the snow and thereāll be rain following in behind pretty quickly. Those in the south of the country might see a bit more action.
on the east coast, we had bounteous channels: bbc1, bbc2, HTV and S4c, as well as poverty one and two
Iāll put the sled away again
thereās still plenty of sledging to do, on this thread
@BruidheanChaorthainn let us down againā¦ Poor @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy slogging around on his winter tyres looks stupid now
Itās okay.
He can throw on the tyres in 2041 when the next big weather event comes along.
Cork still in line for the best/worst of it
