Delta from JFK landed at 9:25 and is still (its 10:57 now) sitting out on the runway cos there is ice on the stand.
It’s a pity no one mentioned this cold weather was coming otherwise the DAA could have prepared

FFS sake that’s some joke. There have been headlines about the imminent FREEZING CONDITIONS since last weekend.
It’s not even that cold, the frost has all completely melted off the car here.
The Dubai flight is now circling as some stands are still frozen. With the exception of @Thornhill id say most will be delayed today

Pal of mine flying in from an International Bidniz trip stuck in City Airport for 5 hours.
Never ever use City Airport no matter how convenient you think it may be. It wont be.

Just checking there and it seems every flight out of Gatwick to Dublin today has been delayed.
Are the delays all on the Dublin side of things. Updates from Gatwick seems that it is moving freely enough
There’s only one airport anyone going to London should ever use and that’s London Heathrow.

They just throw the planes away out of Gatwick to circle Dublin til they run out of fuel.
Currently delayed by 30 mins. Tis only the start of it.
