The first weekend I was in Australia I went to Frazier Island and we got a massive thunderstorm. A lad on the camp got hit by lightning. All he got was a bit black mark on his shoulder where it hit and another on his foot where it went out.

Seems the to have been a direct strike of the Solar/PV panel on the roof and took off into a serious blaze thereafter.
You’d see many a house of building hit by lighting but not too many fires from it.
Hopefully they told their house insurer of the installation
