It was all Limerick. As always. Tis handy in fairness. Hour and ten from the city.
When did they start with the swimming between the flags? There was more of the beach you couldnāt swim on than you could

Twas definitely the case last year. I think maybe since the Canadian couple died 2 summers ago.
Theyāve been really strict since those two people died. Lifeguards in the water amongst the swimmers too.
Were the waves good?
Ya decent. 3-4 footers.
The lifeguards were much more active than Iād seen before alright. Two of them patroling a narrow stretch and in and out of the sea.
Yes, that was the case this year, theyāll be on top of the currents non stop and moving the swimmers the whole time
A Guard wouldnāt ask you that
We went back there two years ago when there was the heatwave in August. The missus couldnāt get over the beach. The chipper was ok too.
Few fine blast of thunder in the south Limerick / north Cork area in the last 20 mins
Thunder bating like mad in Limerick city. A savage flash there a few minutes ago
As good a belt of thunder as weāve got in a long time. Flashing every minute or so. Lights flickered there
I hear the electric is gone in parts of Mungret
Outrageous fork lightning over mid mid West Limerick atm
Itās like something out of war of the worlds
Iād say tis the worst thunder Iāve ever heard. Tis like an explosion every 30 seconds
In a good way?
Cracking thunderstorm here.
Yeah. The size of it. The waves
That was unreal, there was some bang at one stage.
Tis no banna.
But itās probably a better setup in BallyB for kids.
Looks like Limerick is still getting a fair belt of lightning
