Storm is currently a cat 2 hurricane and 650km wide … looks like it’s gonna hit the west coast alright - and come inland over north sligo / south Donegla and work it’s way over land back down towards Leisnter. Midland and Clare/Limerick/ Tipp will see high winds over night Thursday and very heavy rain … Cork will be the only county to escape it thankfully.

You have left out reports of a sting jet which would change the game completely and likely wipe out Cork.
