🌬 The Weather Thread part 2

Cheers pal.

The wind after waking me up here on the peninsula

I have a GAA challenge match on the eastern seaboard at 2pm. Am I as well to not begin my foam rolling now in the expectation it will be cancelled or will some prick decide to train/run instead?

It was wild out there then went calm for an hour and now it’s picking up again, when is the worst of it hitting or are we already in the middle of it? Some lightning earlier on

You can guarantee it

There was two unbelievably loud rolls of thunder in the city around 4am. I haven’t heard anything like it in a long time.

We’re getting whipped here, i keep looking nervously up at the ceiling

Now this is a proper storm

It’s fair wild out there at the moment.

You’re a grown man fitzy. Read a fucking book.

Leccy gone already. FML there goes count day.

First team game AND team meeting has been cancelled. I’d say we’re 1/100 to follow.

It’s hardly a coincidence that one day after the country finally votes left that there’s a nationwide storm.

Plenty of right wingers like myself voted SF too.

I just asked Siri “surely it’s still not going to be stormy today?”

Siri replied, “yes it will be and don’t call me Shirley”

Realised my phone was in Airplane mode

Power cuts in Ennis. Will they be able to count the votes?

It would be awful if Ciara Kelly couldn’t get out for her walk today

Count is on in the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon, has its own hydro-electric power station so they’ll be grand

So long as they can see their fingers and toes they should be fine.
