🌬 The Weather Thread part 2

Wise move. Its better for them there.

Doubting Thomas

It’s a little alarming how quickly it’s settling on wet ground.

Snow flakes as big as golf balls.

There’s a good two inches on the ground in the city but it’s stopped now. Anymore on top will make the commute home fun

Is the Greenhills still standing lads?

SF in power.

Pensioners - winter is your enemy.

It’s the white hills now

I presume Sinn Féin have gritted the roads adequately.

FG have gritted their teeth.

Starting to snow in Rathdown.

Winter is coming.

They have, however you are liable for "Grit tax " should you drive on it.

I’m a working man I don’t need to pay tax.

It’s grand the greens have banned cars so it’s only the footpaths need gritting

Did the Brits get a worse going over from Storm Ciara than us or is the media overblowing it over there? Pity our man on the ground @Tassotti isn’t around to give us an update

@TreatyStones what are the models showing for next weekend? Sunday in particular?

Last 48-72 hours have by far being the worst weather this winter. The Shannon has risen similarly to SF since Saturday, could be serious floods in Limerick city if this rain continues along with the spring tides.

The Clarin was bursting it’s banks earlier when I stopped in Paddy Burke’s. Is there a Nogra alert in place @KinvarasPassion?

@TreatyStones

What’s the outlook like? Heavy snow falling here now in Central Tipperary. Should we expect and good shot of it or is there rain following to clear it all off?

Any word of this weekends weather? Looks rough enough.

Lovely and balmy in Cork. Thank fuck … enjoy the shit - fuckers.
