The Weather Thread

Snow seems to be sticking now.

Pull your tongue back in gowl.

It’s jizzing down in Dublin. Fuck off snow you are not wanted.

Sun is shining here again.

I hear it’s sticking in SOCODU, travel safely, pal.

Fuck. Better take a slash before I leave so-might be a long commute home.

Its lethal in the beautiful dublin mountains. Id advise any forumites not to drive down the hill in belarmine, unless you want a snow day tomorrow and possibly a crash tonight. Blackglen road now nearly unpasspable at lamb doyles. Stay safe pals.

It is lethal on the m9. We drove through a blizzard not too long ago.

Sun still shining here.

You are an awful tom fool.

It beats the alternative… Two snowflakes = blizzard.

Lethal. Unrale. Unbelievable.

where does the M9 take you juhniallio?
im in Dresden on international business ( by chance i stumbled upon the PEGIDA march last night) bizarrely mild for this time of year i am told, 6 C , rain

It takes me too fucking far away. Waaherfurd is the ultimate destination on it.

Lot of snow has fallen in Limerick, I hope this shit doesn’t stick around.

What you make of dresden Mickee? Nice bit of history to it if a bit dull. I stayed in the swisshotel there on the square once. A savage hotel.

yeah its grand
the Neustadt area has come on fine, some grand bars and that square with the castle is very nice
it is dull tho, i couldnt imagine living here, the GDR in general is reeeking of communism, did u ever take a spin east to Chemnitz, formerly Karl Marx Stadt? there is a sculpture of Marx’s head dumped on the main street, classic communist city, big wide street and depressing appartment blocks all around, its like something from A Clockwork Orange.
Some fine women in Dresden, pretty big Irish community there as well , its a pretty big place for semiconductors and other hi tech type stuff

No I only stopped there for a couple of nights between Berlin & Prague. Seemed to be a bizarre amount of Irish bars in the place alright.

no, would love to catch a game, they’re floundering at the moment i believe
