Despite treacharous road conditions, Kilmallock and Kilfinane schools are open. 
By all accounts parts of the west coast are getting a battering with severe wind and rain at the minute- working its way inland. Tis grand and calm here in the jewel of the mid-west.

Got an inch of snow in Cork City yesterday. The snow grips came in handy. It’s been well and truly washed away by persistent rain today.

Batt does not get stuck, ever. Even though Mrs. Batt is not too keen to travel the country roads of Limerick in the ice and snow, Batt will be there to rescue the day.
