The Weather Thread

this thread is great for highlighting who had an impoverished childhood

Dead right. By the way, the weather was shit every summer in Galway throughout the eighties.

Still jealous all your family holidays were to courtown?

We also had holidays to Kilfenora and Waterford. Boring as fuck.

Schull, Ballydehob, Tramore.

What are you shitting on about?

@Fran does the ferry not also go to France? - Only the unimaginative and bland would go to fucking Wales on holidays…The Welsh are the lowest of the low, lower than the Scots, and on par with the ozzies. You’ve made a right cunt of two innocent kids.

Calm down pal. You’ve been made a prick of here, none of which was my doing. Don’t take it out on my family please

Huh?

You’re in Wales, pal.
@Fran

We stayed near Carmarthen once. Tenby is a fucking lovely town to visit.
As for the park itself. We required very few things. A decent water park with good slides, arcade machines, an on-site chipper, the exhilarating freedom to walk around together (me and my bro) and do a bit of exploring, something like table tennis or pool, a half-decent cabaret show in the evening, a lemonade that we’d never had in Ireland.
After 7 trips to Wales we had our final bash in France and it just wasn’t the same. Too fucking hot and full of French people. The best part was getting the ferry from Rosslare over-night with a herd of cattle on-board.

In Wales, a visit to a market (or several) was mandatory to buy old football annuals or Bart Simpson t-shirts.

Man, I fucking LOVED those holidays.
What a post.

Kiln Park, Tenby had all of the above.

And it’s still there. My sister and her husband went there with their kid a year or two back.

26 C at 9 am this morning. Due to reach 37-38 as the day goes on and to last the whole weekend

Reek Sunday is CANCELLED.

The last time this happened was 1951.

Will you please start up a premiership thread, pal… it’s only a few weeks away.

Saw Doctors lied then when they sang that one Sunday every summer the pilgrims climb the reek

Sorry pal. I despise off season BPL discussion, unless it’s to state that Liverpool’s latest signing will win us the league. I’ll start a thread the night before the season starts if nobody else has done so by then. In the meantime I’ve better things to be doing, like spending hours on YouTube watching old Tour De France stages from the 1980s and following my county in the All-Ireland hurling championship.
