The Weather Thread

I’m told that a decision will be made by 12:00 noon tomorrow about a RED warning.

Munster will be red alert from around 3pm Thursday to Friday evening.

Leinster possibly all day Thursday & Friday.

It’s an awful shame this big freeze up didn’t happen during the Winter Olympics. All the kids would have been out curling, skiing, figure skating and skeletoning in the streets in the same way we used to be out on the streets playing tennis during Wimbledon.

Ireland could have had a generation of Eve Muirheads, Aksel Lund Svindals, Alina Zagitovas and Lord Clifton Lancelot Hugh de Verdon Wrottesleys on our hands. But alas, they’ll all have forgotten about it now that the Games are over.

Thank you, I stand corrected. I will look forward to this spectacular event

Sent home from work early. The glare from the sun on my Visual Display Unit was too much to take even with sunglasses.

Snowing again here in Limerick. Proper soft flakes this time.

This was the Curragh just a while ago when I went for my usual jog on a work from home day. I had the place to myself on this beautiful day.

Blizzard like conditions a while ago in Raheen. Apologies that I could not take a photo of it, it’s because I was driving and have regard for my fellow road users.

Pity you wouldn’t have as much regard for other forum users and delete your account.

Clear skies again as I drive west on the M7 towards a blazing setting sun.

I have flurry fatigue.

Brief flurry out here on the peninsula. Didn’t last long but I got the yaktrax I bought in 2010 but never took out of the box out and put them on the going out shoes

Very christmassy looking

Got away from work early at half 4, got a long overdue haircut and did the shopping in Aldi. There was genuinely fuck all bread there, bar one brown loaf which I picked up.

The funny thing is today was actually lovely in Limerick bar a few showers around 3 clock.

The bread thing is genuinely hilarious,
