Stay safe bro.

Met eireann are a lazy bunch of bastards. The one time anyone is paying attention & they haven’t updated their website in 4 hours.

I got up there again and swept the front step and treated it with salt I had left over since 2010. Salt will be the next commodity there will be a run on. Cc @Horsebox

Just on the salt bit…

I heard a report yesterday morning about how much salt we have. I think I have the units right but I believe they said the government has 100,000 tonnes of salt on hand to use. By comparison we used a total of 30,000 tonnes in the 2010 cold snap. On the way home yesterday I saw two snowplows/salt spreaders in position ready to go in Kill and Naas. So it looks there is a bit more organisation this time. We’ll see how it works out.

Your nephew has very small feet.

They’d fucking want to have it, we’ve been paying an absolute fortune to store it since 2010 :grinning:
I’d say they’ll be absolutely lashing it out over the next few days to reduce storage costs.

Similar location, similar result.

Haven’t measured the snowfall but estimating 15-20cm.
