If I fashioned some sort of sleigh could I borrow a few of the greyhounds?

Do male ugg boots provide extra grip in icy conditions?
Any of the funboys who compliment each others’ recipes on the ravenous thread know anything about this?

Well according to a few females I talk to, Uggs are a disaster in this weather.
I saw one bloke a home wearing a pair of Uggs of Christmas. Wrong.

Male Ugg boot wearers in Leitrim??!!! Fucking hell, I presume he was some fancy boy who went to NY and became some lads rent boy and was home for the holidays to the auld fella and dear?
No, he comes from a fairly mad and alternative local family. I think he is based in Dublin.
Wear a pair of old wolly socks over your shoes this will see you right in the grip department, although you will look like a mong.

Male Uggs I know nothing about, even less about fun bhoys. But I am the owner of Alpine Ugg’s and they’re as smart as the day I got them, and they’re heading into their 3rd ski season.
They’ve yet to land me on my arse and I don’t even wear socks inside them
Regular Ugg’s are great for around the house this time of year. And in the summer they’re great for beach parties and bbq’s, yet mine are more commonly referred to as my hangover shoes.
I went mad one year and bought a Ugg jacket and matching pink boots; and they don’t owe me a penny.
I can’t recommend Uggs enough.
The best money I’ve spent on footwear. Ever.
This paragraph is really what sums up the difference between men and women. The same pair of shoes / runners should be sufficient for all occasions except maybe work. The only way I can see Ugg boots being great for beach parties & bbq’s is if I can use one as a holder to keep my beer upright.
The problem with uggs on women is that they look vile and men don’t find them attractive.
This poses problems for women as their goal in life is to please men and appear attractive to them.
Knocklong??? what class of idiot are you?
I am off to Lough Gur tomorrow, last froze in 1982 and we cycled on it then. That was difficult to say the least.

All national and secondary schools are to remain closed until Thursday 14 January, Minister for Education Batt O’Keefe announced this afternoon.
The decision was taken following a review of the weekend weather forecast at a meeting of the Government’s Emergency Response Committee.
The Minister accepts that the closures will cause inconvenience but said the safety of student, teachers and parents was more important.

The decision comes amid growing fears among school principals and boards of management about the impact of further severe weather on school communities. It will be widely welcomed by them.
Schools have been telling RT News of strong health and safety concerns, centred on footpaths and roads in their wider areas.
A decision on whether Ireland’s 4,000 schools will remain closed or re-opened later next week will be made following a review by the Committee at a meeting on Tuesday.
