Weather like this and the cabin fever it creates can really test families and marriages

Could Whiskey be a contributing factor?

No wonder all these useless cunts are full of depression.
Sitting round all day with nowhere to go is an abysmal place to be.

He’s less than 6 months married. He has better things to be doing.

Why did the Brits head out in this weather up and down motorways? I’d have more regard for them generally, it’s like something you’d expect the Oirish to do. Was there no warning over there? Ye got it way worse on the mainland. It’s a harmless night out there I’m just back in from taking the dog out for a piss before bed.

There is heavy persistent snow fall across Co Wicklow tonight as Storm Emma makes its way up over the county.

Snow is now accumulating in coastal parts of the county such as Wicklow, Arklow and Greystones, which had largely escaped the worst of the wintry conditions until now.

High winds are also causing blizzard-like conditions, reducing visibility markedly and making it extremely hazardous to be out on the roads.

The gale force easterly winds are also causing a strong sea surge along the coast, creating very dangerous conditions along cliffs, piers and around harbours.

Earlier, gardai had to be called to Wicklow harbour to get a man out of the water after he went swimming in high seas.
