The Healy-Raes will have the Ark business tied up just in case.

49 degrees in parts of Spain/ Portugal this weekend

You’re exaggerating a bit. Athens may be hottest. Spain will be hot alright but unlikely to hit the high 40s.

Spain and Portugal still on course to hit 45-50 over the next few days

Mainland Europe will become too hot in the Summer. We should build hotels left right and centre to cash in on the tourist boom

Both Spain and Portugal are after a pretty cool summer by their usual standards but you won’t hear that mentioned by the climate change codologists

Summer is now later, mate… They have 30+ going right into October now.

That’s rubbish too. Met Eireann have called that prediction “a load of auld bollix”

I’ve been in Spain the last two Octobers and we had 30-35 degrees in mid October, mate…

A very tolerable 29 degrees here in Napoli today.

There’s something about swimming in a pool on a ship. On a recent dive down to the Titanic it was found that the swimming pool was still full of water after all this time

Going to Granada in a few weeks. Will be “cooler” according to the locals. Was at a wedding there last year and nearly keeled over in the suit. Will have to watch All Ireland in some Irish cheese bar in Nerja.

40 degrees probably

The forecast isn’t great for the rest of the week. The met office were saying there’d be an Autumnal feel until the weekend.
