Its picking up out there now. Rough forecast for tomorrow.

I heard the wind getting a bit stronger this morning so I opened the window and told it to calm the fuck down. It didn’t at first so I had to reiterate to it what the consequences of defiance were. Everything was fine after that until its mate rain came along, that’s a whole other story.

Serious gales a blowing out there. It’s a day for staying under the covers…

I was out in it for a few hours this morning, I was well wrapped up so wasnt too bad but wasnt willing to spend longer then I needed out there
There was a serious high tide in the last few days, the highest in my area I’ve seen for a few years.

Thanks for that. I woke up to the wind and then soon after it was nice and calm and Mrs. GSH said “Thats strange”, and I explained it was probably Flano just cleaning weathers house.

Personally, I’ve already got all my winter clothes on so I greet the rain each morning and watch silly people still half dressed getting soaked. Meanwhile I’m toasty and thinking of re-runs of the golden girls on my way to work.

Yours in smartnesses,
GSH.

I saw lads Kite Surfing the other day in a gale and then read this article after!

Kite Surfer blown away.

Power cut in my area, better go and stock up on candles and battery’s before its pitch dark.

Had a serious battle getting home from the mart with the trailer had to turn where Tom Hogan’s used to be and go the back road for fear of killing someone

There was a good frost on the east side of the country last night, the car even took a wobble. I’ll be looking forward to getting back to the safety of the west and the salty sea air to keep the frost down.

Cork is cold, but beautiful, nice crisp day.

Jaysus it was fair cold in Dublin last night. I had a blanket on the bed as well as the duvet and I still found it pretty chilly.

mild in picturesque malahide today- just took a stroll down to feed the swans at the estuary & the november sun was very pleasant -
