Lovely balmy night here on the peninsula. We had a power cut earlier. I assume it was the heat.
The tans are out cutting and baling from the early hours of a sunday morning. A sure sign of bad weather.
A local minister was dead set against it- he famously asked if they were working on the sabbath because the weather was about to turn or was the weather about to turn because they out working on the sabbath.
25 in Cark today — unrale. Gonna head to Kinsale for a walk up around Charles fort and Old Head of Kinsale… the beaches will be ridiculously mobbed so gonna stay away from them and walk Brady instead …
