Changing jobs and WFH is a disaster. Its very hard to build relationships and its easy for people to fob you off when your not standing over them.

some lad came in hungover and pissed off this morning and fucked a cup of coffee on an ESXi in the datacenter.
I’ve the OOO on til Wednesday. I’ll tip away for a few hours today and tomorrow and ease myself back into it. I might even tip into the office tomorrow and park outside NPHET

I raised this at our WFH committee, giving the impression I’m on the side of the employer. Playing the role of poacher and gamekeeper to a tee.
Sounds like they’ll be getting an ergonomics expert to consult over zoom and ladybird you into sitting at the correct angle and requisite distance from the screen.
