The Wuhan Clan - Tony Holohan's Having a House Party

As an aside, Sweet Caroline must be the most drink-dependent song on earth. You literally have to be pissed to enjoy it

Maybe the virus will make an allowance for the fact they didnā€™t understand?

Thatā€™s Bolox. Most people are living with their own age group around Dublin.

No itā€™s not ā€œgrandā€ you sneery little cunt. You were mocking the virus last week and now suddenly you want these fellas shot. Give over ffs. Nobody has ever experienced anything like this so nobody can be surprised by peopleā€™s reactions.

Leoā€™s tweet would suggest they either donā€™t have, or are unclear whether they have, the power to unilaterally shut down pubs and other businesses as required.

I suspect wide ranging emergency power legislation could be on the way which will give the gov sweeping powers to direct businesses to close or act in a way required by the state

crous, given many people still have to travel to work.

And hereā€™s macs hot take from two days ago. So it Just shows the special type of arse hole we have on our hands here.

Itā€™s time for martial law

any data coming from China needs to come with a health warning ( pardon the pun)
they are seriously untrustworthy people - every tech company as we know has a base there for economic reasons but all are operating on a mimimum N-2 model meaning that what is in production in china will also be at least 2 generations behind leading edge.
reasons for this is that the chinese refuse to emgage in any information sharing and can shut down for any reason - any numbers they are producing should be taken with a pinch of salt as its all about face saving now with the bastards
The koreans are to be trusted tho

Itā€™s been confirmed that the athletico Madrid fans in anfield wouldnā€™t have been even allowed into their own stadium. Half marathon still going on in Liverpool today.

Varadkar is having a nightmare ā€¦ panic all over the place ā€¦ but the airports still open cc @mickee321 ā€“ whatā€™s the point everyone going into lockdown when new cases are just strolling into the country.

No itā€™s the posts dripping in superiority from hypocrites Iā€™ve issues with. Youā€™ve have absolutely no idea what you are talking about but are trying to come across as some sort of expert. Anybody that drinks in temple bar is either a tourist or on holidays too by and large but that wonā€™t stop arseholes like you and Gil brushing everyone with The one lick of paint.

From my own experience of multinational days I would agree with the sentiment on trusting Chinese reports.

But have companies really held back 2 generations of tech from Chinese production?

Revolting.

tom - it is complete madness having the aiports open and renders every control measure we do null and void
there was a fella in israel there trying to put a formula on it to quantify transmission rate- where you take a sequence of variables (people) and try to remove the likelhood they will interact by closing schools, etc and then it ( the outcome) is weighted by keeping apart risk groups - in order to do this the system must be closed ---- but what do we do we render it impossible by keeping the airports open and just keep adding in variables in an uncontrolled rate

madness

i hate to give BiBi credit but he was the first to shut his international airport and today the country is in complete lockdown until passover - 5 weeks

To deal with this, authorities are going to have to figure out a way to freeze large parts of the economy while letting essentials flow.

Iā€™m sure this can be done, but it will take massive international co-operation and big, big government, ie. exactly what the various neo-liberal/disaster capitalists in power across the world cannot comprehend.
