Iā€™d ate that.

Iā€™d often reach into the loft for a fresh bat after a heap of pintsā€¦ Roll him in rape seed oil, sprinkle of salt and a dash of Worcestershire sause and in under the grill for 10 mins.

The Orish are fierce boring when it comes to what animals theyā€™ll ate. Nothing exotic at all.

The Chinese would have solved the grey squirrel problem very quickly. Theyā€™d have just ate the bastard

Donā€™t worry lads; we got this.

Waiter, waiter, thereā€™s a fly in my soup

That photo is years old. It used be going around when photos were distributed via email attachments.

Dont bats carry the ebola virus too @anon7035031
Bats are the problem here lads.

Yes they do and many other deadly viruses. Bats are fascinating, mammals that fly and navigate by sonar, alien like. They have some kind of suppressed immune system that doesnā€™t get triggered by viruses, unlike humans. So they donā€™t get that overreaction of the immune systems which is what causes serious illness and sometimes death in humans.

Donā€™t they carry rabies too?

Yes, responsible for ~70% of rabies deaths in the US.

Rats with wings, or is that pidgins

At least it makes life bearable in Oz for a while.

Bats are descended from some kind of rodent, so are more deserving of the term.

pidgins with wings.

Bats are class, if the stupid cunts might stop eating them theyā€™d be grand

Wonder how long they can lock down China and effects that has on world economy.

Get a sense that the risks are still being underestimated. If death toll continues to rise like it has 50,000 people a day will be dying by end of February. Cruise ship with 6000 people on board now locked down in Italy.

This could be the Black Swan moment - hopefully not.

Really?
I think itā€™s being overstated myself.

I hope so. Next week will tell a lot.

Imagine this broke out in a Western democracy and they tried to lock down cities indefinitely.
