Big farm, foaling units all over the place.

Apparently they’re gone into tillage, beef and other non equine based agriculture. Hard to beat land as an investment I suppose.

Not so much things I learned today, but yesterday.
Never ever shout the following towards Joe Canning while he’s on the sideline after getting a shoulder to shoulder shunt, especially surrounded by lunatic Galway fans.

" Tell him there’s a snack box in it for him, that’ll get him up fast".
